In their first ever South Atlantic Conference Tournament bid, Coker women’s volleyball traveled to Anderson University for the quarterfinal match against the Trojans. The Cobras lost in three sets (13-25, 17-25, 20-25) to the #1 seed.

The Coker women’s volleyball team finished their regular season schedule against fellow South Atlantic Conference member Lenoir-Rhyne Saturday (Nov. 11) afternoon. The Navy and Gold took the match 3-1 (28-26, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20).

The Coker women’s volleyball team traveled north to take on Catawba College in a South Atlantic Conference match on Tuesday (Nov. 7) night. The Cobras lost the match 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-20).

The women’s volleyball team of Coker College finished their home regular season schedule against the Tusculum Pioneers Saturday (Nov. 4). The Cobras took the match from the Pioneers in three sets (33-31, 25-18, 25-22).

The Coker women’s volleyball team hosted the Mars Hill Lions Friday (Nov. 3) night in South Atlantic Conference action. It was Senior Night for the Cobras. The teams battled hard, but the Navy and Gold fell short 3-2, (25-21, 12-25, 25-23, 16-25, 9-15).

The Coker women’s volleyball team played host to the Newberry College Wolves in South Atlantic Conference action Tuesday (Oct. 24) night. The Cobras kept momentum for most of the match and earned the 3-1 win (25-17, 19-25, 29-27, 25-16).

The Coker College women’s volleyball team plays host to the Wolves of Newberry College on Tuesday (Oct. 24) in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The match also serves as a Dig Pink and Fangs United night for the Cobras. The Cobras will be wearing special pink jerseys in honor of breast cancer awareness. Prior to the start of the match, Coker will have short presentation honoring two cancer survivors. There will also be a silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Side-Out Foundation.

The Coker women’s volleyball team took on the Eagles of Carson-Newman in a South Atlantic Conference matchup Saturday (Oct. 21) afternoon. The Cobras lost the match in three sets (18-25, 22-25, 18-25).

The Coker College women’s volleyball team had a busy day Saturday (Oct. 14) as they took on both the University of North Carolina at Pembroke Braves and the Wingate University Bulldogs, recently ranked 24th in the country, as the host team of a tri-match.

The Coker women’s volleyball team hosted the Queens University of Charlotte Royals Thursday (Oct. 12) in South Atlantic Conference action. The Cobras came from two sets down to even the match, but lost the fifth set and therefore the match (14-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 11-15).

The Coker College women’s volleyball team will host a tri-match featuring University of North Carolina at Pembroke and Wingate University on Saturday (Oct. 14). The Cobras will square off with the Braves at 2:00 p.m. and the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Wingate will be the “home” team when they take on UNC-P at 4:00 p.m.

The Coker College women’s volleyball team went head-to-head with the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College today (Sept. 26). The Cobras took three sets from the visitors, pulling out the victory in the fourth (22-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-19), for a 3-1 win.

The Coker College women’s volleyball took on the Carson-Newman Eagles on Saturday (Sept. 16) afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. The Navy and Gold kept the score tight against the Eagles, but dropped the sets 25-15, 25-21, 25-20 to lose 3-0.

The Coker College women’s volleyball team took on the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial Friday (Sept. 15) in a South Atlantic Conference matchup that served as the Cobras home opener. The Navy and Gold only needed three sets (25-20, 25-23, 25-22) to take down the Railsplitters, who were a preseason No. 2 pick in the SAC, winning the match 3-0.

The Coker Cobra women’s volleyball team will host two South Atlantic Conference matches this weekend versus the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial (Sept. 15 at 7:00 p.m.) and the Carson-Newman Eagles (Sept. 16 at 2:00 p.m.).
