Cobras Battle Crusaders in Home Matchup

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker women's volleyball team will play host to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in a non-conference match on Tuesday (Sept. 26) at 7:00 p.m.

The Cobras have totaled 516 kills, 481 assists, and 930 digs to start the 2017 season. They have an impressive 57 service aces as well. Madison Bingle has totaled 112 kills in her 13 matches, with 740 for her career, and she is now sixth all-time in Coker history. Christen Bragg has 423 assists to her credit on the season, continuing to add to her second place status in the Cobra history book. With one more dig, Kara Overholt will reach the 1,000 dig plateau for her career. Blocking 249 attacks in her time as a Cobra, Alexis Berles has added to her third place standing in block assist history with a total of 214.

The Crusaders come into the match with a record of 7-4 overall. Mackenzie Chrapliwy is leading the offensive attack with 124 kills on the season, averaging 2.95 per set. Cassidy Bonito has the lead in assists with 366 and service aces at 14. Defensively, the libero Sarah Kenney has gathered 181 digs, while Coreen Norwood heads the block total count with 33, three solo and 30 assisted.
