2019-20: Appeared in 8 games during a shortened season due to COVID-19....Recorded 18 strikeouts out of the bullpen and picked up two wins...Named to the 2019-20 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

2018-19: Appeared in 18 games...Had 23 strikeouts in 40.2 innings pitched...Against Queens (Mar. 2) had five strikeouts along with giving up one hit in 4.0 innings pitched.

2017-18: Started five times while appearing in a total of 13 games during the 2017-18 season...Issued just 13 walks in 45.1 innings pitched...Recorded a save after a scoreless inning of relief against Urbana (Feb. 10)...Pitched a complete game victory in the Cobras 13-7 win over Lenoir-Rhyne (Apr. 20)...NCBWA Preseason All-Southeast Region.

2016-17: Made a team-high 23 appearances as a sophomore, totaling 48.0 innings of work, the third-highest total on the team...He recorded two wins in relief; with his six saves being tied for second in the South Atlantic Conference...He allowed 14 runs, 11 earned on 41 hits, walking only seven, and punching out 24 on the season...His 2.00 earned run average led the team and won him the South Atlantic Conference statistical championship for earned run average...The sophomore was named to the All-SAC second team as a relief pitcher.

2015-16: Redshirted, did not play this season.

High School: Hollifield was a member of the Spring Valley Vikings varsity baseball team...He was an all-tournament selection at the Diamond Invitational during his junior season and an all-tournament selection during his senior season at the Southeastern Baseball Classic. 

Personal: Son of Kelley and Doug Hollifield...He has one sibling Hunter.
