2015-16: In his sophomore season, Fareed posted nine top-10 finishes, including a win in the 4x 400-meter relay at the Wingate University Inviatational (3/25). At the South Atlantic Confernence Championship meet he finished second in the 4x 400-meter relay, fourth in the 110-meter hurdles and third in the 400-meter hurdles. For his stellar season, Fareed was named to the 2016 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) southeast All-Region team in the 400-meter hurdles. 

2014-15: Fareed had an excellent freshman season, posting 12 top-10 finishes. Six of those finishes came at the South Atlantic Conference Championship where he placed in the 4 x 100 relay, 4 x 400 relay and the 110 and 400 meter hurdles. His best showing was at the Palmetto Classic Track and Field Invitational where he finished runner-up in the 400 hurdles. 

High School: A standout track hurdler and basketball player at W.D. MoHammed High School, Fareed placed thrid at the GHSA state track meet in the 110 and 300 hurdles in 2014. His personal best in the 300 hurdles is 39.36 and in the 110 hurdles is 14.86.
