HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Piedmont High School under coach Jason Phelix through her Junior year when she transferred to Lee Park Prep to finish her High School career. She graduated with a 4.3 GPA and was a member of the National Honors Society and the FFA. She also played high school basketball all four years. In her senior year of high school, she ended her season with a .508 batting average and achieved a school record of 26 stolen bases during her senior season. She was also named all-region and all-state her senior year… played travel ball for Carolina Elite Lovin…

PERSONAL: Daughter of Brian and Laura Rushing… has one younger sister, Avery… mother is a UNC Charlotte graduate.
