How It Happened:
Game 1: It was all defense early on, with both pitchers throwing no-hitters through the first two innings. At the top of the third, however, was when LR really got things going. They scored all four of their runs in that frame to put them up 4-0 heading into the bottom of the third. It wasn't until the fifth inning that the Cobras got their first hit on the board, eventually scoring their first run of the day off a Mya Cribbs single that scored Savanah Fowler to cut it to 4-1. After great defense was played by the Cobras, specifically in the late innings, it was the Cobras heading into the bottom of the seventh down three. Then, things started clicking for the Cobras. Two runs came across on an unconventional play that had Sarah Bryant grounding out and both Cheyenne Palmer and Arianna Roudabush scoring to cut it to just 4-3. With two outs on the board and two strikes in the count, Payton Brigman reached first on an error that allowed Emma Rushing to score to tie this one up. Then, with everything on the line, Moore stepped up to the plate and delivered the game-winning single that scored Hennessy and walked it off in stunning fashion!
Game 2: Game two had its fair share of action as well, and although it didn't end quite the way the Cobras wanted, it was still a phenomenal game of softball. After LR scored in the top of the first, the Cobras answered right back in the bottom of the same inning. Cribbs stole second, and the Bears' catcher had an errant throw that allowed Ariana Fairt to score and tie this game at 1-1. Then, the Cobras took the lead in the bottom of the third on another unconventional play as Bailee Gaskins reached first on a dropped third strike, and the error on the throw by the catcher allowed Cribbs to score to take the 2-1 lead. LR tied it right back in the top of the fourth at 2-2, then followed that with a huge top of the sixth where they scored three runs to make it 5-2. Coker cut the deficit to 5-3 when Fair laid down a SAC bunt to score Brigman to make this one 5-3, followed by LR scoring one in the top of the next inning to make it 6-3. Madie Andrews knocked a solo shot over the right-field fence to bring it to 6-4, but the Cobras couldn't quite bring it all the way back to sweep the series.

- Moore, the freshman who walked it off in Game 1, is currently batting .372 on the season
