How It Happened:
Game 1: The Bulldogs jumped in the scoring column early, scoring the first eight runs of the ballgame through three innings. The Cobras were able to get on the board in the top of the fourth, with Delaney Eaves drawing a walk with the bases loaded to score Emma Rushing, followed by Hennessy singling to center to score Payton Brigman. The Bulldogs stretched their lead with two more runs and took the victory from the Cobras.
Game 2: Wingate scored the first four runs of the inning before the Cobras scored their run in the top of the fourth. Brigman reached on an error that scored Ally Moore to make it 4-1 for that run. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs closed out the game on a high note and took this one from the Cobras.
