CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Coker cross country team's will compete in the Royals Challenge this Friday (Oct. 11), hosted by Queens University of Charlotte.
Representing the men's team will be Dylan Bates, Tom Sizeland, Fabian Hardy, Britian Tomlinson, Tre' Williams, Patrick Tyler, and Sean Arnold.
Running for the women will be Hannah Cook, Naomi Watson, Taylor Hall, Ashley Thompkins, Aneka Dixon, Vanessa Pina, and Rebecca Parham.
Junior's Bates and Cook will be looking to set the pace for the Cobras. The duo has finished first for Coker in every meet so far this year. In their most recent meet, Cook finished the 5K race in a time of 21:14, while Bates finished the 8K race in 30:10.
The women will run the 5K race at 4:30 p.m., followed by the men's 8K race at 5:15 p.m.
