Tom J. New Baseball Field

The Tom J. New Baseball Field was built in 1992 and is named for former Coker Trustee Tom J. New. The field's dimensions are 335 down the left and right field lines, 365 to the left and right center field gaps and 395 feet to dead center field. Previously measuring 365 feet down both the right and left field lines and 412 feet to center, Tom J. New field was one of the largest in the nation. The field also features a press box, home and away dugouts, two bullpens and a batting cage.

The stadium was dedicated to legendary Coker baseball coach Dave Schmotzer in the spring of 2017. In the summer of 2018, Tom. J. New Field was updated with a synthetic turf halo.
