2016-17: McElveen Jr. collected 10 top-10 finishes this season, highlighted by a runner-up finish in the 200-meter and a third-place finish in the 100-meter at the Lenoir-Rhyne Southside Power & Fitness Invitational. He matched the Coker 100-meter dash record twice, at the LRU Southside Power & Fitness Invitational and at the South Atlalntic Conference Championship. He also set the Coker 200-meter record at the SAC Championship, running a time of 21.87. He also earned AstroTurf SAC Men's Outdoor Track Runner of the Week on Mar. 22.
2015-16: McElveen red-shirted this season. He ran unattached, with his best finish coming at the Wingate University Invitational (3/25) where he finished fourth in the 100-meter dash.
High School: McElveen Jr. was a three-sport athlete at Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School where he lettered in football, basketball and track and field. He was the 2014 and 2015 100 meter dash state champion and all-state selection. He was also the 2015 200 meter dash state champion.
Personal: Son of Vestina and Tony McElveen... he has one sibling Gabrielle who attends USC Aiken.
