
Cobras Collect Seven Top Tens at Trojan Challenge
The Coker men's track and field team competed at the Trojan Challenge on Friday.
MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Coker College men's track and field team had a solid showing on Friday (Mar. 17) at the Trojan Challenge.
In the 100-meters, Tony McElveen Jr. finished in eighth with a time of 11.08 seconds.
In the 800-meters, Brandon Mullins, Will Mosley and Razzel Kiplaget all collected top-ten finishes. Mullins led the way with a runner-up showing, running a time of 1:59.74. Mosley finished in fifth with a time of 2:00.26, while Kiplaget finished seventh with a time of 2:02.48.
Jacob Chebii took seventh in the 10,000-meter run, finishing with a time of 34:57.09.
Derrian Moreau took sixth in the 110-meter hurdles. He ran a time of 16.24 seconds.
The team of Malik Tarbell, Kyle Baker, Tyriek Sampson and McElveen Jr. finished fifth in the 4 x 100-meter relay, running a time of 43.12.
The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Mar. 18) at the Powersox Invitational at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
