2015-16: In his first season in Hartsville, Clontz captured five top-ten finishes, including a win in the 4x 400-meter relay at the Wingate University Invitational (3/25). 

High School: Clontz was a two-sport athlete at Newton Conover High School where he lettered in football and track and field. He was an four-time all-conference selection for Red Devils. 

Personal: Son of Jennifer Smith and Chris Clontz and Jamie Smith.
