Coker Women’s Golf Set for Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Coker College women's golf team will be back on the links on Sunday (Mar. 20) for round one of the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge. The 36-hole event will be taking place at the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation in Charlotte, N.C.

In all, 15 teams make up the field. Coker will be joined by fellow SAC schools Lenoir-Rhyne, Lincolm Memorial, Mars Hill, Newberry, Queens, Tusculum and Wingate.

Angela Luna leads the Coker traveling five, with a season scoring average of 79.8. Bella Harris and Taylor Gaskins have scoring averages of 84.9 and 85.3. Ana Orlov has compiled a season average of 86.1, while Margaret Mills rounds things out with a 91 scoring average.

Tee times will begin Sunday morning (Mar. 20) from the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation.
