Byerly Park

Home of the Coker University men's & women's track & field teams, Byerly Park is a community park owned by the City of Hartsville.

It is a 93-acre multi-use recreation complex features six soccer fields, four softball/baseball fields, a 400 meter eight-lane track and field facility, two football fields, six tennis courts, 12 horseshoe pits, 1.2 mile walking, jogging, biking trail, picnic area, concessions (during special events/tournaments) and two playgrounds. The most recent addition is a sports center that offers indoor activites (basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, plus fitness equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, stair steppers, and three universal weight stations).

Directions:
Directions from Columbia: Route 20 East to Route 15 North Exit 116 (Bishopville/Hartsville). Continue toward Hartsville to Hwy. 151. Turn left at intersection. Continue to next traffic light at 14th Street (middle school will be on your left). Turn right on 14th St. for approx. two blocks. Park will be on your right.

Directions from Florence: Route 52 to Route 151. Continue on Rte. 151 for approx. 10 miles. Continue to traffic light at 14th Street (middle school will be on your left). Turn right on 14th St. for approx. two blocks. Park will be on your right.

Directions from Coker: Take Carolina Ave. East toward Bilo for 3.4 miles. Turn left on 14th Street. Go 1.7 miles, turn left on Washington Street. The park will be on your right after approx. a half a mile.
