Cobras Take on Royals and Rams in Home Finales

 

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's volleyball team will be back at home on Friday and Saturday (Mar. 27-28) for matches against the Warner University Royals and the Bluefield College Rams. The Cobras will take on the Royals on Friday night at 7 p.m. They will then turn around to take on the Rams at noon on Saturday and the Royals once again at 4 p.m. Live stats and video will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras will look to continue their solid play as of late. They have won four of their last six in the friendly confines of the DeLoach Center and are 5-3 in the month of March.

The Cobras are led by do-it-all right side hitter Artur Cabral. His 286 kills, 46 service aces and 98 digs are all team highs. His .63 service aces per set are second in the nation and his 3.92 kills per set is ninth in the nation. Luke Hansen has 184 kills on the season to go along with 96 digs. Leshon Alexander has compiled 104 kills on the year, while Aleksa Bijelic paces the Coker offense with 511 assists on the season.

The Royals come in with a 13-7 overall record. They are led by Joshua Jordan and his 159 kills on the season.

The Rams travel to Hartsville with a 3-17 record. They are led by Connor Holland and his 105 kills on the year.

Friday's match will begin at 7 p.m. with doors of the DeLoach Center opening at 6 p.m. Saturday's matches are at noon and 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 for reserved seats, $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and free for all Coker students, faculty and staff.
