Coker Men's Golf Tees it Up at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

HARTSVILLE, S.C. –The regionally ranked No. 2 Coker College men's golf team will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 3-4) when they travel to the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. The two-day, 36-hole tournament will take place at the Panther's Run Course at Ocean Ridge Plantation in Sunset Beach, N.C. The par 72 layout measures 7,020 yards. 

Coker is one of six South Atlantic Conference schools that make up the 16-team field. Along with Coker, fellow conference foes Lincoln Memorial University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Brevard College, Catawba College and Anderson University will be making the trip.

Ethan Cairns and Taylor Ingle lead the way for the Cobras, both ranking inside the top-50 in the southeast region individually. Cairns has a 72.3 scoring average entering the event, including two top-10 finishes. Ingle has one top-five finish and one top-ten finish, to go along with a 72.8 season scoring average. Wanjoo Lee and Will Bundy enter the tournament with 74.5 and 75 scoring averages, while freshman Nicholas Beiers will be making his Coker debut. Beiers was a two-time all-region selection and a winner of the 2015 Anderson Brothers Invitational.

Tee times will begin Monday morning from the Panther's Run Course at Ocean Ridge Plantation.
