Cobras Take Third at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

SUNSET BEACH, N.C. – The Coker College men's golf team fired a final round score of 292 at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. The Cobras' two-day score of 586 left them in a tie for third on the team leaderboard. This is the third-consecutive tournament the Cobras have finished in the top three.

Taylor Ingle carded a closing round of 69 to finish in a tie for seventh individually with a two-day score of 143. Wanjoo Lee and Ethan Cairns shot rounds of 75 on day two, leaving both in a tie for 20th on the individual leaderboard with a two-day score of 147. Will Bundy rebounded after an opening 76, with a closing round of 73. Bundy finished in a tie for 26th with a tournament score of 149. Nicholas Beiers carded back-to-back rounds of 77, to finish with a two-day score of 154.

Duke University's "B" team took home the team title, while Duke's Alexander Matlari and Shrish Dwivedi took home the individual medalist title.

The Cobras will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 10-11) to play in the State Farm Intercollegiate.
