HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team fired a final round 296 (+12) on Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 16) to finish 11th place at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate. The Cobras recorded a three-round score of 897 (+45).
Will Bundy carded his third consecutive round of 72 (+1) to lead the Navy and Gold. His 216 three-round total left him in a tie for 13th individually. Jonathan Sundstrom rebounded with closing round of 70 (-1) to finish in tie for 21st individually with a 220 tournament score. Wanjoo Lee and John Duke finished with two-day scores of 233 and 235. Lee fired a final round 81, while Duke recorded a closing round of 78. Fred Eldridge rounded out the Cobras with a tournament total of 247 and final round score of 76.
Armstrong State brought home the tournament team title with a three-round score of 865 (+13). Christian Constance was the individual medalist with a nine-under 54-hole score.
The Cobras will be back in action on Monday (Feb. 22) when they travel to Savannah, Ga. for the Pirate Invitational.
