WINGATE, N.C. – The Coker men's and women's cross country teams will be running in the Wingate Invitational this Saturday (Sept. 21).  The women will be running the 5K race while the men run the 8K race.

The women's team will be looking for Hannah Cook to set the pace for the Cobras, as she has finished first for the team in the last two meets.  Last weekend, Cook finished seventh overall in the 5K race with a time of 20:27.

Naomi Watson will be looking to build off a top-25 finish from last weeks race after finishing the 5K in a time of 21:57. 

Dylan Bates will head the men's team, as he has also finished first for the Cobras in the last two events.  Last week Bates earned a top-25 finish in the 8K race with a time of 28:12.

The men will lead the way with their race starting at 9:30 AM, followed by the women's race as 10:15 AM.
