HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Montreat Invitational this Saturday (Sept. 14).
The Coker men's team is coming off a second place finish at the Catawba Invitational after junior Dylan Bates paced the Cobras with a first place finish. Bates finished the 8k race in a time of 27:05.
Sophomore transfer Hannah Cook had an immediate impact for the Cobra women's team after she finished the 5k race in a time of 19:02. Her time was good enough to set a new Coker record and lead the Coker women to a fourth place finish.
The race is a preview for the South Atlantic Conference championship.
