Cobras in Seventh After Day One of SAC Track and Field Championship

HICKORY, N.C. – The Coker College women's track and field team is in seventh place after day one of the South Atlantic Conference Championships. As a team, the Cobras scored eight points on the opening day.

Charity Snelling continued her streak of stellar finishes, placing second in the finals of the women's high jump.

In the preliminary heats, the Navy and Gold had qualifiers in the 1500-meter run, the 100-meter hurdles, the 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, 400-meter hurdles, and the 200-meter dash.

The final day of events will begin tomorrow morning (Apr. 16) at 10 a.m.
