Previous to Coker: Tahleea Heyward is a talented women's basketball player currently attending Coker University. Standing at 5'4, she plays as a guard for the team. Originally from Beaufort, South Carolina, Tahleea attended Beaufort Academy. Throughout her high school career, Tahleea showcased her skills and earned numerous accolades. She was named the team's Most Valuable Player twice and also received the Player of the Year award. Her dedication and hard work on the court paid off, as she achieved a career-high of 36 points in a single game. Tahleea's scoring ability is evident from her impressive milestone of reaching 1,000 points throughout her high school career. This accomplishment highlights her consistency and impact on the team's offense. Additionally, Tahleea's talent and contributions to her team did not go unnoticed in high school, as she was recognized as an All-Region player.
