2016-17: Tarbell finished his sophomore season with four top-five finishes, highlighted by a win at the Braves Track Classic in the 4 x 400-meter relay. He was also a member of the 4 x 100-meter relay team that finished third and set a school record with a time of 42.41. 

2015-16: In his first season, Tarbell scored 14 top-10 finishes, with his best showing being a runner-up finish in the 4 x 400-meter relay at the Winston-Salem DII Invitational (1/24). He ranks No. 5 on the SAC performance list in the 100 and 200-meter dash. 

High School: Tarbell was a member of the indoor and outdoor track and field team at Franklinton High School. He qualified for the state championship meet every season he competed and placed fourth in the 100 meter dash at the 2A state title meet in 2015. 

Personal: Son of Tonia Williams and Derek Tarbell.
