COLUMBUS, GA. – After a 36-hole round one at the Cougar Invitational, the Coker men's golf team is in ninth place with a combined score of 588.
Christopher Fuga paced the Cobras with a 70 for his first 18 holes, followed by a 73 to total 143 on the day. Fuga's score was good enough to tie him for 13th place for individual stroke play.
Josh Clay was next for the Cobras, and is currently tied for 21st place for individuals. Clay finished round one with a combined score of 144. Matt Kreider and Zane Price each shot a 151, followed by Blake Baysden with a 157.
Coker will finish the final round tomorrow (Oct. 1), at 8:00 AM.
