Coker Men's Golf in Ninth Place at Cougar Invite.

After day one at the Cougar Invitational, Christopher Fuga and Josh Clay have led the Coker men's golf team to a ninth place position.

COLUMBUS, GA. – After a 36-hole round one at the Cougar Invitational, the Coker men's golf team is in ninth place with a combined score of 588.

Christopher Fuga paced the Cobras with a 70 for his first 18 holes, followed by a 73 to total 143 on the day. Fuga's score was good enough to tie him for 13^th place for individual stroke play.

Josh Clay was next for the Cobras, and is currently tied for 21^st place for individuals. Clay finished round one with a combined score of 144. Matt Kreider and Zane Price each shot a 151, followed by Blake Baysden with a 157.

Coker will finish the final round tomorrow (Oct. 1), at 8:00 AM.
