Coker Men's Golf Places Fourth at Matt Dyas Invitational

CARROLLTON, GA. – The Coker men's golf team captured fourth place at the Matt Dyas Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 30).  The Cobras shot a three round total of 936. 

Matt Kreider tied for eighth place overall, and led Coker with a low score of 230.  Kreider shot in the 70's for every round, with his lowest score being a 75 in the third and final round.  Christopher Fuga and Nicklaus Kennedy shot individual scores of 234 and 235, while Luke Coates and Jake Murphy signed off on scores of 242 and 244 individually.

Aaron Beebe played solo for the Cobras, and finished tied for eighth individually with a three round total of 230.  Beebe shot a low score of 74 in the first round, and 78 in the second and third.

The Cobras have a long break before they hit the links again.  Coker will compete at the Pirate Invitational in Savannah Ga., on February 25.
