Cobras Dig Pink, Strike Down Wolves 3-1 in SAC Match

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker women's volleyball team played host to the Newberry College Wolves in South Atlantic Conference action Tuesday (Oct. 24) night. The Cobras kept momentum for most of the match and earned the 3-1 win (25-17, 19-25, 29-27, 25-16).

The Cobras were led by yet another career day from sophomore Taylor du Bray. She finished with a solid double-double of 23 kills, a career-high, and 14 digs. Madison Bingle had 11 kills and six digs, adding on three service aces and one solo block. Christen Bragg collected 45 assists, two aces, two kills, and six digs. Bethany Prochnow had three solo blocks and assisted on two, on top of seven kills. Alexis Berles blocked four on her own and shared two blocks to tag along with eight kills. Annie Mansfield contributed seven kills and two block assists to the winning effort of the Cobras. Missy Reid and Kara Overholt had 16 and 21 digs, respectively.

The Navy and Gold stay home in Hartsville for Saturday's (Oct. 28) match against the Anderson University Trojans. The match is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
