HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College women's volleyball team plays host to the Wolves of Newberry College on Tuesday (Oct. 24) in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The match also serves as a Dig Pink and Fangs United night for the Cobras. The Cobras will be wearing special pink jerseys in honor of breast cancer awareness. Prior to the start of the match, Coker will have short presentation honoring two cancer survivors. There will also be a silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Side-Out Foundation.

Taylor du Bray leads the offense with 220 kills, while three other Cobras (Madison Bingle, Alexis Berles, and Annie Mansfield) have over 100 digs a piece. Christen Bragg has the team-high assists at 782, averaging 9.31 per set. Five players (Berles, Bragg, Kara Overholt, and Bingle) have more than 10 service aces on the season, as du Bray leads with 20. Overholt heads up the dig category with 405, with du Bray in second at 315. Bethany Prochnow is the lead solo blocker for the Cobra defense, totalling 16, which ties her for first overall in the conference. Berles has assisted on 51 blocks thus far in 2017.

As a team, the Cobras lead the conference in solo blocks with 54. They are also first in digs with 1,642 and are ranked fourth in kills and assists with 946 and 893, respectively.

For the Wolves, Sidra Triplett leads the team in kills with 206 and has a team-high 45 total blocks. Toni-Anne Whitlow is second on the team in kills with 198. Taylor Garrison sets the offense with 565 assists and has a team-high 17 service aces on the year. Defensively, Kensley Jordan has 341 digs on the year.
