HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team fell to the Eagles of Carson-Newman 3-0 on Friday (Oct. 31) evening in their South Atlantic Conference match.

Brooke Closset led the Cobra attack with nine kills, while Elisabeth Merrifield added six kills. Samantha Celek anchored the defense with a match leading 11 digs and two aces, and Christen Bragg handed out 22 assists.

The Cobras will be back in action for their final home match of the season on Saturday (Nov. 1) against the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters. First serve is scheduled for noon at Coker's DeLoach Center.
