RALEIGH, N.C.- The Coker College women's track and field team presented Darroneshia Lott in the women's 1500-meter race, where Lott finished second and broke her own previous record. 

The esteemed senior runner from Pensacola, Fla. secured a second place finish, just 0.31 seconds behind the leader in the women's 1500-meter race. Crossing the line in the time of 4:25.72, Lott set a new Coker outdoor track and field record in the 1500-meter event.

Lott will take on the 800-meter on Saturday, March 31 to conclude the Raleigh Relays. Results can be found by visiting www.cokercobras.com.
