Coker's Lott Named to USTFCCCA Indoor Track and Field All-Region Team

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's track and field team member Darroneshia Lott was named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team for the 2016-17 NCAA Division II indoor track and field season, the association announced today.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, with 493 individuals earning the all-region accolade.

Lott, who was named to the southeast all-region team, was named to the team for her accomplishments in the 800-meter dash. In three 800-meter events during the indoor season, she recorded a win at the JDL College Kick-off Classic, a second-place finish at the UCS Invitational and an eighth-place showing at the Camel City Invitational. She also set the 800-meter school record at the Camel City Invitational, running a time of 2:15.07.

Lott is a physical education major from Pensacola, Fla. She is the daughter of Michele and Darron Lott.
