2016-17: Lott had the greatest single-season in Coker women's track and field program history, collected 10 wins, two of which came at the South Atlantic Conference Championships, set school records in the 800-meter (indoor & outdoor), the 1500-meter, the mile and was a member of the 4 x 400-meter relay team that set the Coker outdoor record. Lott was ranked sixth in Division II in the 800-meter run, becoming the first ever Coker track and field member to qualify for the NCAA DII National Championship. At nationals, she qualified for the finals, running a school-record time of 2:07.40 in the finals and finishing fourth. Lott was an USTFCCCA All-Region selection in both the indoor and outdoor season and was an NCAA All-American with her performance at NCAA DII Nationals. 

2015-16: Lott red-shirted this season. Running unattached, she score four wins, two in the 800-meter run and two in the 1500-meter run. 

Other College: Lott transferred to Coker from South Plains College where she was a two-time half marathon champion and ran a personal best 2:06 800-meter run. She also a cross country national champion with a time of 17:48. She was a national indoor champion in the 1,000-meter (2:52), 3,000-meter (9:45) and the mile (4:49).

High School: Lott competed at Pine Forest High where she currently holds the record for the 800-meter, 1,600-meter, 5,000-meter, and was a member of the record setting 4x800 team. Lott was a member of the back to back FHSSA class 3A girls State Championship team in 2010 and 2011. Lott has claimed a vast amount of titles during her tenure at Pine Forest. Lott was the 2009, 2010, and 2011 FHSSA Class 3A district champion, regional champion, and state champion in the 800. Lott was also the Class 3A district and regional champion in the 1600 in 2010 and 2011 and was the State Runner Up in the event both years. Darroneshia competed in the 2011 Nike Nationals in Eugene, Oregon placing 3rd with a personal best time of 2:12. Lott was recognized for her athletic achievements in both across Country and Track and Field and was awarded the Cross Country athlete of the year award in 2011. Lott completed high school competition with the personal best times in the 800 ( 2:12 ) and the1600 ( 4:58 ).
