Lott Breaks 800 Meter Indoor Record to Lead Coker at Camel City Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Coker College women's track and field team wrapped up competition at the Camel City Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 4).

Darroneshia Lott recorded the top finish, placing eighth in the 800-meter dash. Her time of 2:15.07 broke the previous indoor record, which she set.

In the high jump, Charity Snelling finished in tenth, recording a leap of 5' 1.25".

The Cobras also finished tenth in the 4 x 400-meter relay. The team of Snelling, Angel Gale, Jalecia Williamson and Lott ran a time of 4:06.42.

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Feb. 18) at the UCS Invitational.
