Lott Sets New Mile Record At Wake Forest Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Coker College women's track and field team finished competition at the Wake Forest Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 21)

Da'Sha Jobes led the way for the Cobras, finishing third in the long jump with leap of 17' 4.25"

In the 4 x 400-meter relay, Coker finished sixth, as the team of Autumn Walters, Angel Gale, Briana Nixon and Darroneshia Lott recorded a time of 4:09.86.

In the mile, Lott ran a time of 5:22.28, breaking the previous Coker record by 16 seconds.

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 3-4) at the Camel City Elite Invitational.
