2016-2017: Sorrells won three singles matches in her first year with the Navy and Gold, picking up all three wins in conference play. She competed in the middle of the singles order, and also collected six doubles wins.
Other College: Sorrells attended USC Sumter before coming to Coker. As a member of the women's tennis team, she was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2015-16.
High School: Sorrells was a two-sport athlete at Sumter High School, lettering in basketball and tennis for the Gamecocks. On the tennis court, she was a coach's award winner.
Personal: Daughter of Kathy and Paul Sorrells. She has three siblings, Brian, Sarah and Rachel. Her father Paul played football at Furman University.
