2016-2017: Gainey won three singles matches this season, with one in conference. She competed in three different singles slots this year for the Cobras. She also picked up six wins in doubles play.
2015-2016: Gainey played in two singles matches and one doubles match in 2016.
2014-2015: Gainey finished her freshman season with a 4-6 overall record at No. 5 and 6 singles.
High School: Gainey was a standout athlete at Robert E. Lee Academy where she lettered in tennis, softball, basketball and cheerleading. As a tennis player she was a five-time all-region selection and a six-time team MVP.
Personal: Daughter of Candace and Sid Outlaw...she has three siblings; Katherine, Anna and Lane...sister Anna plays basketball at Columbia College.
