HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's soccer dropped its home opener to conference foe Anderson 2-0 on Wednesday (Sept. 14).

Lexi Garcia registered two shots in the contest, while Renee Ledesma and Trisha Thompson each added one.

Defensively, Shelby Middleton five saves in the contest. The Cobras held down an Anderson team that through its first four games averaged three goals per game.

The Cobras hit the road to travel to Brevard on Saturday (Sept. 17) for a South Atlantic Conference battle. Kickoff is slated for 4:30 p.m.
