Cobras Looking to End Season Strong Against Saints

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's soccer team will wrap up their regular season at home on Saturday (Oct. 27), when they host Limestone College in a Conference Carolinas match.  The game will be available for live broadcast at www.cokercobras.com.

A win for the Cobras would send Coker to the conference tournament for the first time since 2005.  Coker will be looking for strong performances from Kelley Godbout (6) and Jalynn Fortt (3) who lead the team in goals.  The strong defensive presence of Millie Rogers and Sarah Rountree will anchor the defense, while the number four-ranked goalie in the nation Lizz Morris will look to add to her save count of 132.

The Saints of Limestone are currently at a record of 9-6, and are 7-3 in the conference.  Limestone lost their most recent match to Catawba 1-0 on Wednesday (Oct. 24).

Not only is Saturday the last game of the regular season, but also senior night for the Cobras.  The Coker women's soccer seniors will be recognized at halftime of the men's game.  The women's game is slatted for a 4:30 start time.
