HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The 2015-16 Coker wrestling team will open its season on Saturday (Nov. 7) at UNC Pembroke in the Pembroke Classic.

Coker will wrestle alongside Newberry, Limestone and several other area schools. The Cobras have had some recent success at this event, with eleven wrestlers placing in their weight classes at the 2014 tournament. Seven of those wrestlers will return to the event this year, including Derek Rothermel (3^rd), Luis Peguero (3^rd), Rashad Cunningham (4^th), Derrick Booth (4^th), Zach Dicus (4^th), RaSean McArthur (5^th) and Varlee Kelleh (6^th).

The Cobras will be sending out Charlie Huff (125), Derrick Nelson (133) Andy Szalwinski (133), Dylan Barrett (133),Cody Walker (141), Julian Williams (141), RaSean McArthur (141), Varlee Kelleh (141), Jordon Tague (149), Kyle Ocker (149), Rashad Cunningham (149), Walker Barfield (149), Derek Rothermel (157), Jamal Lackey (157), Eric Fiorino (165), Zach Dicus (165), Derrick Booth (174), Luis Peguero (184), Temaris Dixon (197), Austin Akins (285) and Tyvon Leacock (285).
