Coker Drops SAC Game to No. 23 Royals

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College women's lacrosse team played host to the Royals of Queens University of Charlotte in South Atlantic Conference action on Saturday, March 31, afternoon. The Cobras lost to the No. 23 visitors.

Three Cobras scored in the conference action. Two of Haley McCusker's goals came on free position shots, with the other being unassisted. Faith Kent's lone score was on a free position attempt as well. Sarah Bryson was able to score on a Kent assist.

McCusker and Erika Solis tied for a team-high two ground balls. Kent (10), Bryson (2), and McCusker (7) were the three Coker draw control winners. Hannah Baird, Katie Jordan, and Kent each combined for the Cobras' caused turnover total. Cassie Williams saved 12 shots on the afternoon.

The Navy and Gold return to action on Wednesday, April 4, in a home non-conference game against the Barton Bulldogs. Opening draw is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
