Lax-4-Life is a national lacrosse campaign to provide and support programs geared toward adolescent and young adult suicide prevention and awareness.

Lax-4-Life was started in 2009 by members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Association after teams were confronted with the prospect of life after suicide.  When resources were not available they asked, "what can we do?" Lax-4-Life was the answer. Goals of this initiative are: raise awareness for suicide prevention; erase the stigma associated with suicide and depression; educate parents, coaches, students, and the community about warning signs and issues associated with suicide; understanding and assisting students with the pressures of life in high school and college; provide resources & outlets for those dealing with depression, bullying or suicidal thoughts; and help aid those left behind after a suicide.
