Cobras Finish Ninth at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

SUNSET BEACH, N.C. – The Coker College women's golf team fired a final round score of 327 at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. Coker's two-day score of 641 left them in ninth place on the team leaderboard.

Angela Luna led the way, shooting a final round 76 and finishing with a tournament score of 156. Bella Harris carded a closing 81, posting a tournament score of 158 and finishing in a tie for 25th. Kelli Smith signed off on a final round 84, leaving her with a tournament score of 161. Ana Orlov and Taylor Mayers each closed with rounds of 86. Orlov finished with a two-day score of 166, while Mayers finished at 169.

University of West Georgia took home the team title, while UNCP's Ashlii Thompson won the individual title.

The Cobras will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 10-11) to play in the Patsy Rendleman Invitational.
