Coker Women's Golf Travels to Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

HARTSVILLE, S.C. –The Coker College women's golf team will be back on the links on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 3-4) when they travel to the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. The two-day, 36-hole tournament will take place at the Lion's Paw at Ocean Ridge Plantation in Sunset Beach, N.C. The par 72 layout measures 5,916 yards.

Coker is one of eight South Atlantic Conference schools that make up the 18-team field. Along with Coker, fellow conference foes Lincoln Memorial University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Queens University of Charlotte, Tusculum College, Wingate University, Anderson University and Newberry College will be making the trip.

Angela Luna leads the way for the Navy and Gold. The junior has a one top-five and one top-ten finish on the season, to go along with a 76.3 scoring average. Bella Harris enters the tournament with a 80.3 scoring average, while Kelli Smith and Taylor Mayers have season scoring averages of 81 and 82. Ana Orlov rounds out the Coker traveling five, with a scoring average of 87 through two rounds.

Tee times will begin Monday morning from the Lion's Paw Course at Ocean Ridge Plantation.
