Cobras Sit in Thirteenth After Day One of Battle at Old South

BLUFFTON, S.C. – The Coker College women's golf team shot an opening round score of 310 on day one of the Battle at Old South, leaving the Navy and Gold in a tie for thirteenth place on the team leaderboard. 

Angela Luna led the way for the Cobras, firing an opening round score of 75. Luna is in a tie for 26th position on the individual leaderboard. Bella Harris and Kelli Smith signed off on rounds of 78, while Amber Winburn carded an opening round of 79. Taylor Mayers rounded things out for the Navy and Gold, shooting an opening 18-hole score of 82.

St. Leo University is atop the team leaderboard. The Lions shot a team score of 292 on day one. Marie Coors of St. Leo is the individual overnight leader after a round of 68 on day one.

Second round tee times will begin Sunday morning (Sept. 25) at the Old South Golf Links.
