Coker Women’s Golf In Tenth After Opening Round of Converse Spring Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. –The Coker College women's golf team shot an opening round 341 at the Converse College Spring Invite. Their team score leaves them in tenth place going into the final round. 

Angela Luna is in a tie for seventh individually after an opening round of 77. Ana Orlov is in a tie for 26th after signing off on a round of 83. Bella Harris and Margaret Mills rounded out the starting lineup for the Cobras, shooting rounds of 89 and 92.

King University is atop the team leaderboard. They shot a team score of 317 on day one. Elizabeth Swallow of King University is the individual overnight leader. She recorded a round of 73.

Round two will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 23) at the Carolina Country Club. The Cobras tee off on holes 10 and 11.
