HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's track & field team has been picked seventh in the South Atlantic Conference preseason coaches' poll, the league announced today.

In its inaugural season of competition, the Cobras were picked seventh out of nine teams. Last season's conference champion Wingate University was picked first.

Under the direction of head coach Benny Morgan, the Cobras are off to a great start this season. Joshua Morris, Noah Cook, Nick Mascardo and Dylan Bates lead the way for the in the track events, while Brandon Gambrell has led the way in the field events with seven top 10 finishes so far this season.

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday (Mar. 27) at the Weems Baskin Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C.
