2014-15: Cook had a solid freshman showing, posting five top-10 finishes in five meets. His best finish was a first place finish at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational (3/19-3/21/15) with a mile time of 4:42.20. He also notched third and fourth place finishes in the 1500m and 800m at the Wingate University Invitational (4/03/15).

High School: A four-sport athlete at Mapleton High School, Cook lettered in cross country, basketball, wrestling and track. As a cross country runner he was a four-time all-area and four-time all-area runner. He was named the Times Gazette Runner of the Year and was a two-time state qualifier. In track he was a state qualifier, a three-time all-area and three-time all-conference selection.

Personal: Son of Barbara and Martin Cook...he has six siblings; Sarah, Claire, Audra, Emily, Danielle and Hannah....sister Hannah is a member of the Coker women's cross country and track and field teams.
