Coker Men’s Volleyball Suits Up for Coker Invitational

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's volleyball will be back in action on Saturday and Sunday (Mar. 7-8) as a part of the Coker Invitational taking place at the DeLoach Center.

On Saturday, the Cobras will take on Holy Names University and Sacred Heart University at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. They will turn around and take on Marymount University and Emmanuel College on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Artur Cabral and Luke Hansen lead the Navy and Yellow with 149 and 101 kills on the season. Cabral is averaging 3.31 kills per set and that is 29th best in the country across Division I and II. He is also third in the country in aces per set with .57 aces per set. Hansen is 27th with .38 aces per set. Aleksa Bijelic has dished out 271 assists on the season and his 7.32 assists per set average is 32nd in the country. Leshon Alexander and Luke Grupe are each in the top 50 in the country in blocks per set.

Holy Names travels to Hartsville with a 1-8 overall record.

Sacred Heart hits the road with a 4-8 overall record.

Marymount University enters the Coker Invitational with a 7-11 overall record.

The Lions of Emmanuel College are sporting a 2-10 overall record.

Matches start at 3 p.m. on Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Coker's DeLoach Center.
