Cobras Host Bulldogs in Final Home Match

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's volleyball team will play its final home match in the legendary Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium on Tuesday (Mar. 25) against the Barton College Bulldogs. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live coverage available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras are 3-1 in their last four matches and are led offensively by the trio of Luke Hansen, Jared Geizer and Artur Cabral. Hansen has knocked home 206 kills and dug 113 balls for the Navy and Yellow. Geizer has 195 kills to go along with 79 digs and 28 blocks, while Cabral 25 service aces with 190 kills and 32 blocks. Heading the Cobra defense is Leshon Alexander with his team-leading 61 blocks, while Ricardo Ferrer has a team-high 161 digs. Ferrer is also the team leader in assists (863) and service aces (29).

Barton is 9-14 overall this season and a subpar 5-8 on the road. Winners of their last two games, the Bulldogs are led by Zach McCalla and Chad Stanback Jr.'s 328 and 220 kills, respectively. Federico Pagliara sets the offense for Barton with 812 assists, while Michael McMahon leads the defense with 299 digs.

Tickets for Tuesday's match can be purchased at the door for $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and are free to all Coker students, faculty, and staff.
