HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College men's tennis team (9-7 overall) will play host to the visiting Mars Hill University Lions on Saturday (Mar. 31) in a weekend South Atlantic Conference match.
Heading into tomorrow's match, Mark Watt and Justus Lehman lead the Navy and Gold in singles play. Watt currently holds an impressive 12-4 record at the No. 1 position and Lehman boasts an 11-3 record, collecting seven wins at the No. 5 spot and four wins at No. 6 singles. In addition, Hunter Horton has earned an 8-8 record at No. 2 singles.
In doubles play, Horton and Lehman have recorded a team-best 10-5 record at No. 2 doubles. Felix Schweyer and Dominic Allan have posted a 7-3 record at No. 3 doubles, while Hellbe and Watt sport an 8-7 record at the No. 1 slot.
Mars Hill enters tomorrow's contest with an 4-9 overall record and a 0-4 mark in conference play.
As mentioned, opening serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
